The Astronomy Encyclopedia (2002)

Description: This encyclopedia is aimed at researchers and enthusiasts covering the discipline, including the latest and most important advances. There are more than 3,000 alphabetically organized articles accompanied by 500 photographs, star maps, and diagrams. These articles were written and reviewed by more than 100 astronomers from leading universities and observatories, each an expert in a specialized area of the field (Moore, P. & Robinson, L. J., 2002).

Terence. (2008, August 16). “Another reference book that I love to just browse through without any particular goal in mind. It has articles on stars, galaxies, astronomers, observatories, planets, space missions and pretty much everything else that makes up the night sky (which is, unfortunately, not easily visible here in the middle of Los Angeles).” [Review of the book The Astronomy Encyclopedia, by P. Moore & L. J. Robinson]. Goodreads. Retrieved fromhttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/443321.The_Astronomy_Encyclopedia#other_reviews
